Enterprise Nation: The Fashion Exchange 2019
Enterprise Nation is founded by the wonderful Emma Jones MBE. Enterprise Nation is a community of small businesses. They host a range of workshops, both online and offline, offer support and organise a whole array of events such as ‘The Fashion Exchange’ around the country. Last year’s event was held in the beautiful St James’ Building on Oxford Street in Manchester. ‘The Fashion Exchange’ is an opportunity to hear from business owners, professionals and buyers offering their advice and experience to help people on their business journey.
During the day there were panels on topics such as doing pop-ups on the high street, accounting and social media. There was something for everyone, no matter what stage you are at.
Rachel took part in the first panel alongside Carrie who owns Junkbox Apparel speaking about starting and growing a business, who is an absolute joy! The day continued with more panels and speakers and it was great to hear from people who are different stages and their experiences and their advice.
The Fashion Exchange events are really interesting and a really good day and a fantastic opportunity to network, meet and listen to brilliant people.
